TYRONE HILLS GOLF COURSE (810-629-5011)
Michigan golf course review
Tyrone Hills is a traditional 18-hole golf course located off old 23 in Fenton Michigan. This par 72 Bruce Matthews design is built on a very rolling terrain with numerous elevated
tee boxes and raised green complexes.
Tyrone Hills features a clubhouse with pro shop, plus diner serving a variety of food and beverages. There also is a hall for outings and catered events. A practice green is
adjacent - no driving range is on property. The course features yardage markers every 100, 150 and 200 yards on all par fours, and also at 250 yards on all par 5s. Color coded
lags indicate the front, middle or back hole locations.
There are 3 sets of tee boxes that play to distances and slopes measuring 6446 yards/132 slope, 6064 yards 128 slope and 5281 yards/116 slope. Water hazards are featured in
some shape or form on 7 holes. And sand bunkering is understated but strategic, with 17 sand traps situated mostly near the green complexes.
