Thunder Bay Resort is an all-season complex featuring a variety of accommodations in a natural, Northern Michigan setting. A 3-star (Golf Digest) 18-hole championship golf course is the centerpiece of this resort community, which is located in Northeastern Michigan, just a 4 -hour drive from Detroit, and easily accessible from the Midwest and Ontario. Known for its warm, friendly service, this family operated facility can accommodate groups of all types - be it serious golf buffs or those looking for family-oriented recreation.

Guests at Thunder Bay can choose from a variety of accommodations, ranging from luxury or whirlpool suites (700 sq. ft.), to golf villas (950 sq. ft.) to golf chalets with 1450 sq. ft of space. Private patios, barbeque grills, and wonderful golf course views are some of the featured amenities. Comfortable accommodations for couples, families and golf groups are extremely efficient - with plentiful living space and all with full kitchens.

From southern MI, take I-75 to M33, exit 202 at Alger. Take M33 north through Rose City, Mio, Fairview and Comins. At Fairview, be sure to turn left at the blinker in town to stay on M33. North of Comins M33 joins M32. Turn right onto M32 and head east to Hillman, just ten miles. The resort is on M32 just east of Hillman.

From northern MI, take I-75 south to Indian River, then take 68 east to Onaway. At the light in Onaway, turn right and take M33 south until it joins M32 in Atlanta. At the light in Atlanta, turn left and head east on M32 to Hillman, 14 miles. The resort is on M32 just east of Hillman.
