					Manistee National is a full service golf resort located in the heart of Northwest Michigan. The resort is situated on US-31, just south of the Victorian Port City of Manistee and just minutes from the breathtaking sand dunes along Lake Michigan - in an area that has long been regarded as a vacation paradise. With two championship courses, great practice facilities, a lodge with a variety of accommodations, heated indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, plus meeting rooms for corporate events, Manistee National is an ideal spot for avid golfers, families and business groups. .




			Plentiful dining options are available on property and in Manistee, just a few minutes from the resort. The Little River casino is 15 minutes away, and offers a great variety of slots and all the favorite table games. Open year round, cross country ski packages at Manistee National are also available, and downhill slopes and snowmobiling are close by


	GOLF AT MANISTEE NATIONAL


	Thirty six holes of championship golf are on property at the resort. Canthooke Valley is the original design and features open meadows with a few strategic wetland crossings, providing ample room to feel comfortable yet challenging enough to suit experienced players. This traditional layout is playable for golfers of all abilities.


	Cutters Ridge is a Jerry Matthews design and deserves ranking with the top golf courses in Northern Michigan. 6700 + yards of natural terrain provide golfers will opportunities to test their shot-making abilities over wetlands and abundant natural areas.

	The practice facilities include an expansive range with target areas, two putting greens, and a short game/chipping area with sand bunker. Lessons with PGA staffed professionals can be arranged.

	The clubhouse features a full pro shop with golf attire and accessories and the grille provides food and beverage service.

	ACCOMMODATIONS


	The Inn provides comfortable accommodations in 42 rooms with various configurations - including suites.

	A complimentary deluxe continental breakfast is provided daily for all guests - an incredibly convenient feature for those with early tee times. All your favorite beverages are now available in the Inn Lounge, with comfortable seating for intimate groups.


	RESORT FEATURES AND ACTIVITIES


	Located at the Inn building, the recreation facilities include an indoor heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, with changing rooms/showers. A new outdoor pool area with hot tub was added in 2006! Nearby are the beaches of Lake Michigan - with miles of soft sand and dune trails.

	Manistee National has expanded its dining facilitiies with a full service restaurant and bar in the clubhouse - with breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. The resort now has a lounge with a full selection of achoholic beverages avaialble. Free continental breakfast with cereals, english muffins, bagels and beverages are offered.


	PACKAGES are available year round, including golf, skiing and gaming specials. For larger groups, over 200 rooms are available at the Best Western and Days Inn of Manistee. Custom golf packages can also be arranged with nearby courses, including Heathlands and Hemlock - located within 1/2 hour of the resort. This is also a great place to stay if you are playing at nearby Arcadia Bluffs.

	On US-31 just south of Manistee. From Cadillac: Take 55 West to Manistee. Turn left and go through town. The resort is on the east side of US 31, a few minutes south of town.
