Hunters Ridge is a Jerry Matthews & Associates design that features undulating topography with a great variety of holes. 68 bunkers, 6 ponds and ample fairways bordered by tall heather rough combine with 30 acres of natural wetlands to make this course visually pleasing and fun to play
Hunters Ridge has been awarded 4 stars by Golf Digest, and served as a U S Open Qualifying course in 2002. On property is a grass range and large practice green, plus a clubhouse with pro shop and indoor seating that can accommodate 50 people. From Detroit: take I-96 west to exit #133, at the Kensington Valley Factory Shops. Go east on M-59 for 2.7 miles to Byron Road, then turn left (north) on Byron Road for 7 miles.
