The golf at Grand Traverse Resort can only be described as incredible! Guests have a short walk (or shuttle) to the pro clubhouse, where they check in for their experience on one of three beautifully designed and maintained courses. The Jim McLean Golf School is on property, and practice facilities are comprehensive. The pro shop is well stocked with golf equipment, logo attire and accessories, and the adjacent grill and lounge serves up a nice variety of fare and beverages. A spacious outdoor patio with great views of the first and 18th holes of the Bear (and adjacent to the practice facilities) is a perfect meeting spot.

The Wolverine (Gary Player) and Spruce Run (William Newcomb) are excellent layouts that provide a nice challenge from the back tees, yet are player friendly for novices and mid to high handicappers that choose the correct tees.
