The Hawk's Eye & Chief Resort is located along the Chief Golf Course in Bellaire, in the heart of Northern Michigan - near the Summit Village at Shanty Creek. The cottages are built for relaxation, recreation and generally, year round enjoyment. Each cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, whirlpool tub, full kitchen, living room with fireplace, outdoor deck and finished basement. The deck provides outstanding views of the 5th and/or sixth holes on the beautiful Chief Golf Course. The living arrangements are ideal for golf groups, business groups, couples or families.

On property is a large practice green, situated in close proximity to the clubhouse, and a short game area with sand bunker. The driving range is one of the best around, with numerous bent grass tee stations leading to sculpted target greens. At Hawk's Eye, golfers will currently find a temporary (trailer) clubhouse, with spacious putting and chipping greens. An elaborate clubhouse with ten upscale condominiums will open during the spring of 2005.

Golf Packages begin at $169 in the spring and fall, and top out at $239 on summer weekends - and include 2 night's accommodations in the Chief Cottages or at the Legend Cottage at Shanty Creek, plus unlimited "same day" golf on the Chief and Hawk's Eye. Two night weekday (Sunday - Thursday) packages in season are priced at $199, and packages featuring unlimited golf on the third day are also available. Custom packages are also offered - call for details.

The Golf Cottages are available for sale, in a program that includes membership at the Chief Golf Course. Membership at the Hawk's Eye Golf Club is also offered.
