The Sundance Course at A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort has been selected as the 2023 Michigan Golf Course of the Year by the Michigan Golf Course Association (MGCA).
Jada Paisley, executive director of the MGCA, said the MGCA is thrilled to announce Sundance as the 2023 MGCA Course of the Year.
"Sundance embodies all of the characteristics of the Course of the Year award", she said. "The golf course has fostered a vibrant community hub where people can come together for golfing, socializing and events while supporting charitable causes that benefit the broader community.

The beautiful Sundance Course - a Jerry Matthews links inspired design that since its opening in July 2005, has become one of the top upscale layouts in NW Michigan. Five sets of tees lead to manicured fairways along a rolling terrain with significant bunkering and sand waste areas - with spectacular panoramic views! Awareded "Third Best New Course in the Country" in 2006 by Golf Digest. In 2023 - Sundance was honored by being voted "Best Course of the Year" by the Michigan Golf Course Association.

Since 1997, A-Ga-Ming Torch (formerly known as A-Ga-Ming Golf Course) has improved from a 2 1/2 star to a four-star layout. The re-design of key holes along with improvement in conditioning and beautiful, rolling topography combine to make this a memorable and enjoying round. The course covers 200 acres that feature undulating fairways lined with stately pines, mature hardwoods, and numerous creeks and ponds. The sixteenth hole provides a spectacular view of Torch Lake, located just a couple miles from the property. Jim Neff, senior editor of Michigan Golfer has stated that the Torch has the three best opening and finishing holes in Michigan.

The clubhouse fronts an brand new practice area with large putting green, chipping area and practice bunkers. Lessons and club rental are available, and beverages, sandwiches and snacks can be purchased at the clubhouse grill.

Antrim Dells - For more than 30 years, The Dells has been one of Northern Michigan's favorite courses to play.
