Hawk's Eye is a spectacular John Robinson design that is the centerpiece of the Hawk's Eye Golf Community. Huge and forgiving fairways and greens provide a friendly experience for all levels of players, while length and accuracy are necessary on this rolling terrain, from the back tee boxes. This is true Mountain Golf, and one of Northern Michigan's best!
Hawk's Eye is a great compliment to its more challenging sister course - the Chief. On property is a temporary clubhouse - with plans for a gorgeous permanent facility to be ready in the spring of 2005. There is a beautiful putting green and another for chipping. The driving range at the Chief is available just a couple miles down the road. The new Golf Cottages at the Chief provide comfortable, luxurious accommodations for golfers looking for packages. From Mancelona - take M-88 west to Del Mason Road and turn right (north) and follow as it winds around and becomes Bachelder Road. Follow Batchelder to Schoolcraft and at the stop sign turn left and follow to the end. (The Chief is to th left, Hawks Eye is to the right)
