The Blackshire was designed, by Kevin Aldridge, to create the look and feel of the famous Pine Valley CC in New Jersey. Cut through hardwoods and pines, the large sand waste areas along the fairways, trees and greens give the Blackshire a different look than the typical Northern Michigan course.
