Wide, generous landing areas just beg you to let'er rip and at 7,145 yds from the back tees you must do just that. The inward nine is the most picturesque and difficult group of holes in Northern Michigan. You will find this golf course both a demanding test and pleasurable golfing experience. The Monarch course has a shope of 140.

Right on County Road 489 (blinking light) - drive 14 miles.  Garland is on right hand side. From Grand Rapids: US 131 N to Cadillac.  Right at M-55 to US 27. US 27 N to exit 254. Right at first light (M72). M-72 to Luzerne. Left at County Road 489 - go 14 miles. Garland is on right hand side
