Threetops is a challenging par-3 course that plays through hilltops and valleys. Holes range from 96 to 216 yards, two with verticle drops of 90 and 170 feet. One of the most unique 90 minute challenges in golf.
Threetops has been named the # 1 Par-3 in the US (Golf Magazine) and is part of the Treetops Resort complex that features a wide variety of accommodations, upscale facilities, 4 championship courses, and The Rick Smith Golf Academy. Threetops annually hosts the 'Shootout" (covered by ESPN). Threetops Shootout will be held June 27 and June 28 in 2005. I-75 to exit 282. East on M-32 through the town of Gaylord. Turn left at Wilkenson Road and follow east for 3 miles to resort entrance. If you are coming from the west via US 131, M-32 junctions with 131 approximately 7 miles north of Mancelona. Follow M-32 West for about 15 miles, turn right on Wilkerson.
