Wide, generous landing areas just beg you to let'er rip and at 7,145 yds from the back tees you must do just that. The inward nine is the most picturesque and difficult group of holes in Northern Michigan. You will find this golf course both a demanding test and pleasurable golfing experience. From Detroit: I-75 N to exit 202 (Alger). Right on M-33 N to Mio. Left in Mio on M-72 (blinking light). West to Luzerne. Right on County Road 489 (blinking light) - drive 14 miles. Garland is on right hand side. From Grand Rapids: US 131 N to Cadillac. Right at M-55 to US 27. US 27 N to exit 254. Right at first light (M72). M-72 to Luzerne.
