The 6,508 yard layout was designed to fit the rolling contours adjacent to Bird Creek, which meanders from the south through the course toward Lake Huron. Eight of the eighteen holes play adjacently or over the creek, challenging all levels of golfers. Shifting Lake Huron winds come from three directions, making each round play differently.
Bird Creek is a Bruce Matthews design with wonderful conditioning and landscaping. Comprehensive practice facilities include a 4-tiered range, short game area with sand bunker and putting green. Lessons of all types from PGA professional Eric Sump are available. The clubhouse includes a pro shop, snack area plus outing/event facilities for up to 200 people.
